Where our funds go
Over the years, our troop has raised thousands of dollars selling cookies. We’ve used funds to support Bronze and Silver Award projects, and donated to the Humane Society, Veterans Village, and Dewey Elementary School.
This year, our troop is working on more Silver and Gold Award projects. And we hope to make it to London in 2025 to visit the WAGGGS World Center, where we’ll connect with other Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from around the world.
This year’s cookie sales will help fund the resources our Silver Award project needs. I’m counting on your help through cookie sales and donations.

Operation Thin Mint℠ is a local service project that originated in San Diego in 2002. This year will mark the 22nd year of Operation Thin Mint! Donated boxes of cookies and handwritten notes are delivered to troops and veterans around the world from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard. Donations are tax-deductible.

Cookies you buy online can be shipped directly to you. Or if you live in 92106 or 92107 zip codes, you can select Have Addie deliver the cookies on the order form. I’ll notify you when I’m able to do a free drop-off at your door. Deliveries start January 29.
